Just ask! All Australian Dental Professionals undergo rigorous training at university and start treating patients at university usually from their 2nd or 3rd year of study. They then undergo numerous long placements in public dental clinics and perform all types of dentistry. They would not let them graduate if they did not know what to do!
Our dental professionals in our clinic are highly skilled and have undertaken plenty of further continuing professional education to further develop specialised skills. This is an ongoing thing our dentists partake in and they are always learning and updating their dental knowledge.
Additionally our team participates in whole team workshops for continuing professional education and we are always learning and evolving according to the current best practice guidelines!

Dental is a very rewarding career and you see different patients and cases every day. Building a bond with a community of patients is an amazing feeling and that is why our team loves what they do.
There are multiple career pathways within Dental- e.g. Doing a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a Diploma to become a Dental Laboratory Technician or a Prosthetist. You could also head to University to become a Dentist, Hygienist or an Oral Health Therapist. There are also pathways to become a Dental Receptionist, Practice Manager.
