Starting your Invisalign Journey with Cranbourne North Dental

Pre-treatment checks

Prior to any Invisalign treatment, we need to make sure your teeth and gums are healthy. A complete dental check-up and all essential dental treatment needs to be completed. Some dental treatment such as dental implants and dental veneers, may be delayed till after your Invisalign treatment.

Measurements, Treatment Planning and Quotes

We take 3D scans, measurements, photos and x-rays of your teeth to plan the right Invisalign treatment for your teeth. Working with Invisalign and using the advanced ClinCheck software, we are able to finalise your plan in 2 weeks.

Treatment Plan and Case Discussion

We discuss your Invisalign treatment plan and simulations of your teeth movements. We detail how long your treatment will take, how much it will cost, our aims for treatment and lastly, how we will move your teeth. At the end of the appointment, we email your consent forms and treatment plans.

Ready, set, go!

Once everything is approved, signed and a deposit is paid, your journey with Invisalign Clear Aligners starts!

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a brand of clear aligners that are designed to orthodontically move teeth. It works with a series of aligners that shift and move your teeth. It provides you a more aesthetic option compared to having braces on your teeth. You wear it all the time but it allows you to remove it for eating and cleaning your teeth. It is a great modern solution and Invisalign is one of the pioneers and leaders of clear aligner therapy.

Speak to our Dental Professionals about our Invisalign offerings to see if it’s right for you!

Yes, there can be some discomfort associated with wearing Invisalign™ aligners, especially when you first start wearing them or switch to a new set of aligners. This is the same with any Orthodontic movement of your teeth e.g. with braces, other clear aligners and plates. We manage this with pain relief and with time the trays will become more comfortable.

Choosing between Invisalign™ and traditional braces depends on various factors. The biggest difference between them is the looks. Invisalign™ offers a nearly invisible, removable aligner option, making it ideal for those who prefer a discreet look and the convenience of removing the aligners for eating and cleaning.

On the other hand, braces are more effective for complex dental corrections and provide precise control over tooth movement. They are fixed, so compliance isn’t an issue, but they are more noticeable.

At Cranbourne North Dental, we evaluate your specific needs and preferences to recommend the best option for your orthodontic treatment.

The cost of Invisalign™ treatment can vary depending on the complexity of your case and the length of treatment required. During your consultation, our dentist will provide a detailed cost estimate based on your specific needs and treatment plan. We also offer various payment plans and financing options to make Invisalign™ more affordable. It’s best to schedule a consultation to get an accurate quote for your situation.
